Grand Tongo wanted to know what its localized media was really worth. The question was simple: do the stores near our ads sell more than the stores without them? Answering it meant measuring sales at the shelf, not clicks or impressions.
Proving that local ads move product off the shelf.
A store-level geo test for Grand Tongo: 92 advertised stores measured against 1,375 stores with no paid media.

Average revenue per advertised store against stores with no paid media.
10.57 units per advertised store against 4.57.
Measured against 1,375 stores that received no paid media.
We ran a clean split of Grand Tongo's store-level sales data into two groups. 92 advertised stores received localized media investment. 1,375 non-advertised stores received no paid media support. We compared total revenue, unit sales, and average revenue per store across both groups, so the lift could be read store for store.
Advertised stores averaged 143% more revenue per store than stores with no paid media. Units followed the same pattern: 10.57 units per advertised store against 4.57, a 131% lift.
Despite a far smaller footprint, the advertised locations produced materially more on a per-store basis.
Geo-targeted campaigns are a scalable growth lever for Grand Tongo, and the test gives the brand a repeatable model for entering new markets and setting budgets territory by territory. ATTN ran the media and built the measurement framework that isolated the lift.
- Expand geo-testing to more underperforming locations.
- Test different media intensities to find the optimal spend threshold.
- Keep always-on holdout markets to keep refining the incremental lift model.
